BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (Ticker) -- Ali Mann had 18 points and 13
rebounds and Liz Honegger added 13 and 10 as 25th-ranked Bowling
Green clinched the Eastern Division of the Mid-American
Conference with a 62-50 victory over Kent State.

The Falcons (23-2, 14-0 MAC) struggled from the floor in the
first half, shooting 32 percent (21-of-53) from the floor, but
still managed to hold a slim 23-21 advantage at halftime.

Bowling Green came out on fire in the second half, opening on an
11-2 run, and never looked back.

Kent State (17-8, 10-4) had trouble holding onto the ball,
giving up 22 points off 16 turnovers.

Carin Horne scored 11 points and Kate Achter added nine and
seven assists for the Falcons, who shot 39 percent (21-of-53)
overall and scored 26 points in the paint.

Lindsay Shearer scored 20 points and Malika Willoughby
contributed eight and eight rebounds for Kent State, which shot
a disappointing eight percent (1-of-12) from the arc.
