CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) -- Lisa Willis had 24 points and eight rebounds to lead UCLA to a 72-59 win over Oregon State at Gill Coliseum on Thursday.

Noelle Quinn added 17 points, 14 rebounds and four assists for the Bruins (16-10, 11-6 Pacific-10 Conference).

Oregon State's Kim Butler tied a career-high with 31 points for the Beavers (12-13, 6-11). Anita Rivera added 14 points.

Quinn and Willis combined for 20 of UCLA's first 28 points and the Bruins led 32-27 at halftime. UCLA opened the second half with a 10-2 run, which Willis started with her fourth and final 3-pointer of the game.

Oregon State answered with an 8-2 run to get within 44-37 with 14:10 left. But the Beavers would get no closer as they shot 32 percent in second half and got just four points from their bench on the night.

UCLA, which outrebounded Oregon State 48-35, expanded its lead to as many as 17 points in the second half.

Willis scored 32 the first time the teams met, a 79-64 UCLA win Dec. 22 in Los Angeles. UCLA senior guard Nikki Blue, sixth on the Bruins' all-time scoring list and averaging 13 points per game this season, was held scoreless.
