OMAHA, Neb. (AP) -- Ally Thrall had a career-high 23 points and
Creighton overcame an 18-point first-half deficit to defeat South
Dakota 83-74 in an exhibition game Sunday.
Creighton trailed 32-14 with 5:15 to go in the first half before
unleashing a 23-6 flurry to close the first half. The Bluejays were
5-for-5 on 3-pointers during the surge, including one by Thrall at
Michelle Kaus had 14 points and Tyrai Bronson 12 for the
Division II South Dakota was paced by 16 points each from
Bridget Yoerger and Jenna Hoffman. Jeana Hoffman added 14 points
while Shannon Daly had 11.
