POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) -- Center Shantee Releford led Weber State with 18 points and 10 rebounds to defeat Idaho State, 71-70, in the semi-finals of the Big Sky women's basketball tournament on Friday.

Weber State (15-14) became the first fifth seed to advance to the championship of the postseason tournament by defeating top-seeded Idaho State. The Wildcats face Northern Arizona in the championship game Saturday afternoon.

Laura Porter made the winning basket for Weber with 10.6 seconds left. ISU had the last shot, but Andrea Lightfoot's 23-footer missed at the buzzer.

Chelsey Warburton added 14 points for Weber State, making four three-pointers. Porter scored 13, Tashina Taylor 12, and Sara Tuomi nine, all on three-pointers.

Idaho State (17-12) became the first No. 1 seed to lose in the tournament semi-finals despite center Natalie Doma's 27 points and forward Joanna Hixon's 20 points before she fouled out near the end of the game.

The Bengals used only seven players and lost one of them, starting forward Danica Boyce, to an injury when she fell on the court.
