Consecutive lay-ups by the Ragin Cajuns put them up 43-42 with just over 12 minutes left. But the Longhorns countered with 3-pointers from Jackson and redshirt senior Katrina Robinson to take a 48-43 lead. Soon after, Erika Arriaran hit two free throws in the midst of a 10-0 Texas run when Louisiana-Lafayette head coach J. Kelley Hall was whistled for a technical foul.
