EUGENE, Ore. (AP) -- Shavonte Zellous scored 28 points to lead Pittsburgh to a 59-51 win against Utah in the Oregon Thanksgiving Tournament on Friday.

Marcedes Walker added 12 points for the Panthers (5-0). Morgan Warburton scored 23 to pace the Utes (1-3), who are off to a slow start after advancing to the Elite Eight in last season's NCAA Tournament.

Zellous scored nine points in the final 4:49, beginning with a pair of free throws with the game tied 40-40. That sparked a game-ending 19-11 run for Pittsburgh, which is a win away from tying its best start ever.

Neither team shot well, with Pittsburgh hitting 40 percent of its shots to 38 percent for the Utes. But the Panthers made 21-of-24 free throws, including 13 of 15 in the second half.

The game was delayed for five minutes early in the second half when a bee flew into official Marianne Karp's shirt and stung her on the shoulder. Karp had the sting area iced before returning to the game. ^
