CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) -- Oregon State ended the game on a 13-2 run
Sunday to get a 66-56 comeback win against UC Davis.
Casey Nash had 21 points and six rebounds and Mercedes
Fox-Griffin and Jasmine Smith added 13 points apiece for Oregon
Nash had 15 of her 21 points in the second half. Haylee Donaghe
had 21 points and five rebounds for UC Davis (1-4).
Teammates Genevieve Costello and Laura Thomas had 10 points
each. Smith's 3-pointer put Oregon State ahead 56-54 with 2:10
left, giving the Beavers their first lead since Nash's basket with
UC Davis didn't score again until a Kirsten Commins basket with
25 seconds left, cutting the Oregon State lead to 64-56.
The visiting Aggies went on an 11-3 run to go ahead 14-5, capped
by a Donaghe three-point play with 14:14 left in the first half.
Smith's 3-pointer tied the game at 23 with two minutes
remaining. The teams traded baskets in the final 11 seconds of the
half, and Oregon State led 27-25 at halftime.
Donaghe had 12 of her team's 25 first-half points. Judie Lomax
added 10 points and seven rebounds for Oregon State.
Both teams had 31 rebounds, with UC Davis grabbing 11 offensive
rebounds and Oregon State 10. Oregon State was 11-of-14 at the
