GREELEY, Colo. (AP) -- Angel McCoughtry had 19 points, 12 rebounds and three steals, and Chauntise Wright added 20 points and nine rebounds off the bench to lead Louisville (No. 25 ESPN/USA Today, No. 24 AP) past Northern Colorado 82-52 Sunday.
The Cardinals (6-0) controlled the game early and didn't let up, and the Bears couldn't match the strength of Louisville's bench. The Northern Colorado bench was outscored 44-9.
Kendra Lambrecht led Northern Colorado (1-5) with 12 points.
Tina Fox scored with 7:21 left in the first half to pull Northern Colorado to 23-11, but the Bears were scoreless over the next five minutes as Louisville pulled away for a 36-11 lead.
Louisville's lead never dropped below 20 points after that.
Jasmine Smith hit a jumper with 16 seconds left to give Louisville an 82-50 lead before Melanie Drangmeister's jumper with 7 seconds to go made it 82-52.
