    MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) -- Mandy Morales scored a career-high 27 points and Sara Gale had a career-high 14 rebounds Thursday to lead Montana to a 70-59 win over Wyoming.

    Wyoming (6-2) led 33-30 at halftime, but the Lady Griz outscored the Cowgirls 40-26 in the second half.

    Montana (4-1) grabbed its first lead of the game, 34-33, with 18:48 to play when Johanna Closson hit a jumper.

    The score was tied at 46 before Laura Cote hit a 3-pointer with 10:24 remaining, starting a 20-8 run that gave the Lady Griz a 66-44 lead with 3:31 remaining.

    Montana outrebounded Wyoming 42-29 and made 24-of-26 free throws. Montana was called for six fouls compared to 19 for Wyoming.

    The win was the 649th in Montana coach Robin Selvig's career.

    Cote scored seven of her nine points in the second half. Tamara Guardipee also added nine points.

    Just four Wyoming players scored, led by Hanna Zavecz with 19 points and Justyna Podziemska with 17, including five 3-pointers. Jodi Bolerjack finished with 12 points, all on 3-pointers, and Dominique Sisk added eleven points and six rebounds.

    Wyoming made 13-of-31 shots from 3-point range.
