    CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) -- Casey Nash tied her career high with 26 points on 10 of 12 shooting Sunday in Oregon State's 82-39 win against Birmingham-Southern.

    Ashley Allen added 15 points and nine rebounds for Oregon State (4-1). Judie Lomax had 12 points and 12 rebounds, her fourth double-double in the Beavers' first five games.

    Keanna Vicks had 10 points to lead Birmingham-Southern (2-6).

    Oregon State scored the first 20 points of the game and led 45-17 at halftime. Nash, a senior guard, had 22 points in the first half, and scored Oregon State's first four points of the second half to tie her career high in points.

    With the game in control, Nash played just three minutes in the second half. Oregon State's winning margin (43) was its largest of the game. The Beavers led by as many as 31 in the first half.

    Oregon State shot 28 of 56 from the floor, while Birmingham-Southern was 14 of 48. Oregon State was 23 of 31 at the free-throw line and Birmingham-Southern was 7 of 12. Oregon State had the rebounding advantage 44-27, including 15 offensive rebounds.
