MOSCOW, Idaho (AP) -- Mandy Morales scored 28 points Saturday to lead the Montana women's basketball team to an 85-66 victory over Idaho.

It was the fifth straight win for the Lady Griz (8-1), who shot 51.7 percent in the first half to jump out to a 45-29 halftime lead.

The Vandals (3-5) scored the game's first point when Ticey Westbrooks hit a free-throw at the 19:08 mark of the first half, but that would be their only lead.

Dana Conway and Morales hit back-to-back 3-pointers to begin the scoring for the Lady Griz, who would open up a 17-point lead in the first half, 36-19, with 6:07 remaining.

Idaho pulled within 11 points in the second half, 59-48, when Katie Madison scored on a three-point play inside. But Montana scored the next 15 points over a span of 4:09 to go up 25, 74-49.

Morales had 19 first-half points, going 5 for 6 from 3-point range.

Joining Morales in double figures were Johanna Closson and Sonya Rogers, with 14 each, and Britney Lohman with 10.
