ORLANDO, Fla. (Ticker) -- Shante Williams and Florida State needed an impressive second-half performance to defeat a lowly in-state opponent.

The Seminoles shot just 41 percent (12-of-29) in the first half and trailed 35-33 at halftime against struggling Central Florida (1-8). However, Florida State shot a blistering 67 percent (18-of-27) in the second half to pull away.

Williams and Gladden were a combined 12-of-23 from the floor and 6-of-9 from the line to lead the Seminoles.

Francine Houston scored 18 points for the Golden Knights, who shot 45 percent (26-of-58).
