Cole, Beck shine as Colonials erase halftime deficit

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Kenan Cole scored 10 of her 15 points in the
second half and Kimberly Beck added 14, leading (No. 19 ESPN/USA Today; No. 21 AP) George
Washington to a second-half rally on Sunday to douse the Liberty
Lady Flames, 74-66, and snap a 2-game losing streak.

The Colonials had trouble keeping tabs on guard Megan Frazee,
who scored 18 of her 28 points in the first half. Liberty (5-3) led
by 8 at halftime after holding George Washington to only 30 percent
shooting (9-for-30) from the field.

Kimberly Beck sank two 3-pointers in the final 10 minutes,
giving the Colonials (8-2) their first second-half lead and
sparking a 16-12 final run. Sarah-Jo Lawrence scored in the final
second of the game, drawing a foul to cap off the victory.
