SAN DIEGO (AP) -- Tiffany Jackson scored 22 second-half points, and Niqky Hughes made two free throws with 11 seconds left as Texas came from behind to defeat Oregon State 65-64 on Thursday night.

Texas (9-3) overcame a 13-point deficit in the final 12 minutes to advance to the title game of the Surf N Slam Classic.

Oregon State (4-6) held a 64-63 edge with 32 seconds left, but Hughes was fouled after making an offensive rebound on a missed jumper by Jackson to set up the decisive free throws.

On the Beavers' final possession, Jackson tied up Cedes Fox-Griffin to stop play with three seconds left. The Beavers maintained possession and the ball was inbounded to Judie Lomax. Texas' Carla Cortijo stripped the ball and dribbled down the court as time expired.

Jackson scored a game-high 26 points. Erika Arriaran added 11. Jackson and Hughes led the Longhorns with seven rebounds apiece.

Casey Nash led Oregon State with 25 points, and Fox-Griffin added 18. Lomax led the team with 11 rebounds.

Oregon State led 29-24 at the half.

Texas shot 38 percent from the field to 46 percent for Oregon State.

Texas will play San Diego (10-2) in Saturday's championship, while Oregon State will play Holy Cross (5-7) in the third-place game.
