OXFORD, Miss. (AP) -- Armintie Price had 21 points and 11 rebounds to lead Mississippi to a 76-66 victory Sunday that snapped Vanderbilt's six-game winning streak.
Price made three steals to become the school's career leader with 336. She entered the game tied with her coach, Carol Ross.
Ole Miss had nine steals, scored 23 points off 17 Vanderbilt (No. 10 ESPN/USA Today; No. 11 AP) turnovers and shot 44 percent from the field, despite going 0-for-9 from 3-point range. The Rebels led 34-22 at the half and outrebounded the Commodores 47-27 for the game.
Mississippi (13-4, 2-0 Southeastern Conference) had five players in double figures. Alliesha Easley scored 14, Ashley Awkward added 13, Danetra Forrest had 12 and Jada Mincy 10.
Caroline Williams scored 19 points for Vanderbilt (14-2, 1-1). Carla Thomas added 18 points, and Christina Wirth had 12 for the Commodores, who shot 50 percent in the second half.
