No. 21 Middle Tennessee routs FAU for 11th straight win

BOCA RATON, Fla. (AP) -- Chrissy Givens scored 19 of her 23 points in the first half to help No. 21 Middle Tennessee State win its 11th straight, 78-48 over Florida Atlantic on Thursday night.

Amber Holt added 14 points and Krystle Horton had 12 for the Blue Raiders (14-3, 6-0 Sun Belt).

Brittney Crenshaw had 10 points to lead FAU (4-14, 0-6), which shot just 18 percent from the field in the first half.

The Blue Raiders scored 18 points off 20 Florida Atlantic in the first half and shot 51.3 percent from the field. Middle Tennessee outscored the Owls 29-7 in the final 11 minutes of the half.

The two teams combined for 39 fouls -- 22 by Florida Atlantic.
