EUGENE, Ore. (AP) -- Eleanor Haring scored 20 points to lead
Oregon to an 86-73 win over Arizona on Thursday night.
Cicely Oaks added 17 points and Taylor Lilley had 13 for the
Ducks (10-5, 2-3), who shot 58 percent from the field.
Joy Hollingsworth scored 22 for the Wildcats (7-11, 1-5), who
have lost eight of their last 10 games. Jessica Arnold added 17
points and Amina Njonkou had 13 points.
The Ducks made 11-of-21 3-pointers on the night. They connected
on five of them during a first-half spurt that saw them turn a
12-10 deficit into a 33-21 lead with 9:55 to play.
Micaela Cocks' 3-pointer with 4:28 left gave the Ducks a 46-31
lead, the largest margin of the half.
Hollingsworth, who scored 18 in the first 20 minutes, banked in
her third 3-pointer of the game with three seconds left to get the
Wildcats to within 54-45 at the half.
The Ducks struggled in the first six minutes of the second half,
committing six turnovers and making just field goals as the
Wildcats trimmed the lead to 58-53.
But Lilley sparked a 13-0 run with a pair of 3-pointers, and the
Ducks were in control the rest of the way.
