BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (AP) -- Ali Mann scored 16 points to lead Bowling Green (No. 17 ESPN/USA Today; No. 18 AP) to a 70-50 win over Central Michigan on Saturday.

Carin Horne added 12 points despite sitting most of the second half, and the Falcons (16-2, 6-0 Mid-American) held the Chippewas scoreless for nearly four minutes on the way to a 39-20 halftime lead.

Candace Wilson scored 15 points and Britni Houghton added 11 for Central Michigan (9-10, 1-5).

The Falcons outrebounded the Chippewas 46-34 and outscored them on points in the paint 36-16.

Central Michigan never led, but was within 11 points with 5:52 left in the first half when the Falcons scored 11 unanswered points in just under four minutes to put them up 35-13. Bowling Green stretched the lead to 28 points with 12:28 left.

Horne, who made both of her 3-point attempts and both free throws, was taken out with 16:55 left to keep from aggravating a sore leg.
