YPSILANTI, Mich. -- Kate Achter scored 22 points to lead No. 16 Bowling Green to a 72-55 win over Eastern Michigan on Sunday for the Falcons' 11th straight win.
The Falcons (18-2, 8-0 Mid-American Conference) built a 20-point lead in the second half behind Achter and Ali Mann, who scored 19 points. Carin Horne rounded out Bowling Green's attack with 11 points.
Eastern Michigan (11-8, 6-2) twice got within eight points during the second half. Kelly Watts led the Eagles with 17 points and Sarah VanMetre had 14.
Bowling Green led 32-21 at halftime after scoring the last 10 points of the first half and holding Eastern Michigan scoreless for the final 5:05.
