VILLANOVA, Pa. -- Angel McCoughtry scored 17 points and Jazz Covington added 14 to help Louisville (No. 17 ESPN/USA Today, No. 19 AP) rally past Villanova 64-59 on Tuesday night.

Yuliya Tokova had 10 rebounds for the Cardinals (20-2, 6-2 Big East), who won their third straight game despite hitting just 1-of-13 3-pointers and committing 15 turnovers. Louisville had a 53-26 rebounding edge.

Stacie Witman scored 15 points to lead Villanova (7-14, 1-7), which lost its sixth straight game. Tia Grant added 11 and Lisa Karcic had 10.

Grant's 3-pointer with 3:33 remaining gave the Wildcats a 57-55 lead. Louisville responded with a basket by Covington and two free throws by McCoughtry to take a 59-57 advantage with 2:07 left.

Villanova's Heather Scanlon tied the game at 59 with 1:58 to go, but the Wildcats didn't score after that possession. Tokova and Patrika Barlow hit two free throws apiece to put the game away.
