AUBURN, Ala. (AP) -- With a game-high 18 points DeWanna Bonner led the Auburn women's basketball team to a 93-61 victory over Alabama Thursday night.
Shooting 54.9 percent from the floor, the Tigers (11-7, 3-4 Southeastern Conference) were ahead by 35 points with 15:19 left to play and never let the Crimson Tide (10-13, 0-8 SEC) take the lead.
The Tigers had three other players double digit scorers. Tamela McCorvey had 14 points, Travesha Jackson had 12 points and Whitney Boddie helped out with 10 points and 12 assists.
Kate Mastin led the Tide with 16 points, and Navonda Moore added 13.
