No. 23 Wisconsin-Green Bay picks up 19th straight win

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Kayla Groh and Katy Harty each scored 12 points to lead Wisconsin-Green Bay (No. 23 ESPN/USA Today, No. 24 AP) to its 19th straight win, 73-42 over Wright State on Thursday night.

The Phoenix (22-3, 13-0 Horizon League) stretched their home winning streak to 12 games, dating to a Nov. 29 loss to then-No. 17 De Paul. Green Bay has won nine straight over the Raiders (7-17, 5-8).

Brittney Whiteside led Wright State with nine points. Amanda Popp added 10 for the Phoenix, who also had 17 steals and scored 31 points off of 31 turnovers.

Nicole Soulis, who finished with nine points, hit a jumper and buried a 3-pointer to ignite a 10-2 run in the final six minutes of the first half as the Phoenix took a 31-22 lead.

Green Bay began the second half on a 17-4 run. Soulis and Groh each scored before Natalie Berglin swished a 3-pointer in the first two minutes for a 38-22 lead.

The Phoenix extended their lead to 48-26 on Harty's two free throws.
