Bears trample St. Mary's behind Player's career-high night

WACO, Texas (AP) -- Jhasmin Player scored a career-high 29 points to lead No. 15 Baylor to a 101-47 win over Saint Mary's on Saturday night in the Basketball Travelers Tip-Off Tournament.

Baylor (2-0) fell behind by two points a minute into the game before going on a 12-0 run. They never trailed again.

Player was a perfect 13-of-13 from the free throw line, matching a school record. The Lady Bears sank a school-record 42 free throws.

Angela Tisdale added 17 points and Rachel Allison had 13 for the Lady Bears.

Sierra Chambers scored 11 points to lead Saint Mary's (1-1). The Gaels shot just 24.6 percent from the field.

Baylor led 57-24 at halftime.
