TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (AP) -- Kelsey Luna scored 22 points and Indiana State shot 85 percent from the free-throw line to upset Vanderbilt 77-72 in overtime Wednesday night.
Christina Wirth led Vanderbilt (No. 17 ESPN/USA Today, No. 20 AP) with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Liz Sherwood scored 19.Laura Rudolphi had 17 points and six rebounds for Indiana State. Maria Olsthoorn added 12 points.Vanderbilt (2-1) outshot the Sycamores (2-0) from the field, going 32-of-58 (55.2 percent) compared with the hosts' 40 percent. But the Commodores made just 3 of 14 free throws, while Indiana State was 17-of-20.The Sycamores held a 27-26 edge at halftime, but the Commodores shot 63 percent in the second half to tie the game at 63 after regulation.
