Sanni, Bulger headline Mountaineers' rout of Cornell

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) -- Yinka Sanni scored 22 points and Meg Bulger added 21 to lead West Virginia (No. 20 ESPN/USA Today, No. 19 AP) to a 93-52 win over Cornell on Sunday.

Chakhia Cole had 17 points and eight rebounds for the Mountaineers (3-0), who play defending national champion and top-ranked Tennessee in Charleston on Wednesday.

West Virginia shot 50 percent for the game, and held Cornell to 32.7 percent from the field. The Mountaineers also had a 46-26 rebounding advantage and forced 21 turnovers, including 10 steals.

Kayleen Fitzsimmons, a West Virginia native, led Cornell with 15 points. Moina Snyder scored 12 and Lauren Benson finished with 11.

West Virginia led 48-30 at halftime.
