ROCHESTER, Mich. (AP) -- DeWanna Bonner had 22 points and 12 rebounds and Whitney Boddie added 19 points and 10 rebounds to help Auburn (No. 25 ESPN/USA Today, No. 24 AP) rally for a 71-63 victory over Oakland University on Wednesday night.
The Golden Grizzlies (2-1) led for much of the game and had a 59-55 advantage with 4:44 to play, but the Lady Tigers (4-0) scored the next nine points to take control.
Melissa Jeltema led Oakland with a career-high 21 points and added 11 rebounds, while Jessica Pike scored 15 before fouling out in the final minute.
Jordan Greenleaf finished with eight points and 12 rebounds for Auburn, which dominated inside in the final four minutes.
Auburn led 34-28 at the half, but Pike had eight points in a three-minute stretch to help the Golden Grizzlies take a 44-42 lead with 13:36 to play.
Oakland, which was trying for its first home win over a ranked opponent since 2002, led 52-46 with eight minutes left despite missing its first four free-throw attempts of the half.
That let Auburn stay close despite shooting 37.1 percent from the floor, and Bonner and Boddie were able to take over down the stretch.
