Freshman Anna Patritto led the Golden Grizzlies wth 17 points while Jessica Pike and Hanna Reising scored 13 each.

West Virginia led 23-6 after the first six minutes, hitting nine of its first 10 shots, but Oakland was able to put together a rally later in the half.

The Golden Grizzlies trailed 42-30 at the intermission, helped by 11 points by Pike.

Sanni had 16 points in 16 minutes for the Mountaineers. Bulger then scored 10 points in the first four minutes of the second half, helping West Virginia build a 58-38 advantage.

Oakland got as close as 13 in the final two minutes, but never seriously threatened the Mountaineers.
