CHICAGO (AP) -- Vionca Murray scored 17 points to lead No. 22 Syracuse to a 69-66 win over DePaul (No. 24 ESPN/USA Today, No. 23 AP) on Tuesday night.
Syracuse (17-3, 5-2 Big East) led by nine points with 3:49 left in the game before DePaul rallied to tie the game at 66 on Allie Quigley's free throw with 37 seconds left.Chandrea Jones' putback with 12 seconds left gave Syracuse a two-point lead. Nicole Michael added a free throw with two seconds left to seal the win.Erica Morrow added 15 points, including three 3-pointers, for Syracuse. Jones finished with 12 points and Michael had 11 points for the Orange, who led 37-35 at halftime.Deirdre Naughton had a game-high 20 points for DePaul (15-5, 4-3). Missy Mitidiero and Felicia Chester each added 13 points and Quigley added 12 points for the Blue Demons.
