LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) -- Andrea Riley scored 24 points and Shaunte Smith added 20, leading Oklahoma State (No. 16 ESPN/USA Today, No. 17 AP) over Nebraska 92-81 on Sunday.
Coming off a 10-point win over fifth-ranked Baylor, the Cowgirls took advantage of Nebraska's dismal shooting beyond the arc and built up a 31-point lead in the second half. The Cornhuskers responded with a 17-0 run, but could not close the gap.
Nebraska (17-7, 6-4 Big 12) pulled to within nine points on Danielle Page's layup with just over a minute left, but Oklahoma State made nine of 10 free throws the rest of the way.
In addition to Riley and Smith, Oklahoma State (19-3, 7-2) had four players score in double figures. Taylor Hardeman scored 14 points, Maria Cordero had 12 and Danielle Green and Kristin Hernandez added 10 each.
Kelsey Griffin scored 16 points for the Huskers but was a relative non-factor in the second half, scoring her first points with less than 4 minutes to play. A trio of Huskers, Yvonne Turner, Cory Montgomery and Page, scored 18 points each.
Oklahoma State shot 48 percent from 3-point range, an average brought down by Riley's eight misses in 11 attempts. Hardeman was 4-of-6 from 3-point range.
Nebraska shot 47 percent overall and 24 percent from 3-point range.
