CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) -- Abby Waner and Joy Cheek each scored 15 points to lead Duke at a 83-54 victory over Clemson on Wednesday night.
The Lady Tigers led the No. 12 Blue Devils (19-6, 8-2 Atlantic Coast Conference) 12-4 six minutes into the game, but Duke went on a 36-5 run to finish the half and take a 40-17 lead at the break.
During the run, which started with the Blue Devils scoring 16 straight points, seven different players had points. Meanwhile, the Lady Tigers (10-15, 3-7) shot just 7-for-36 (19.4 percent) in the first half.
The Blue Devils have now won 11 in a row over Clemson by an average of more than 29 points.
Duke pulled down 54 rebounds, 20 more than Clemson.
Duke scored 40 points in the paint and took its largest lead at 72-39 with just over five minutes to go.
Christy Brown scored 11 points to lead the Lady Tigers, while D'Lesha Lloyd added 10 points to top 1,000 points for her career.
Chante Black added 14 points and eight rebounds for the Blue Devils.
