FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) -- TCU had one of its worst offensive games in years when it played Wyoming earlier in the season.

The Lady Frogs turned that around Wednesday night.

Adrianne Ross scored 21 points and Helen Roden added 15 to help TCU win its fifth straight game, beating Wyoming 73-59.

TCU (15-9, 8-2 Mountain West) had lost 62-45 to Wyoming (No. 21 ESPN/USA Today, No. 22 AP) on Jan. 12. It was the fewest points the Lady Frogs had scored in a game since 1998.

But the Lady Frogs nearly matched that total by halftime as they stormed out to a 39-24 advantage and led by at least 13 in the second half.

"We were much more aggressive and our shot selection was better," TCU head coach Jeff Mittie said. "We were tentative and were taking bad shots when we played the first time. There were still a few bad shots, but overall we did a much better job."

TCU, which has won 10 of 12, shot 50 percent as the Cowgirls gave up a season-high 73 points.

"We focused more on us than what Wyoming did earlier," Ross said. "We wanted to make the extra pass offensively and it worked."

Wyoming (19-4, 7-3) lost for the third time in four games after starting the season 18-1, which is the school's best ever start.

Dominique Sisk scored 16 points for Wyoming.

The Cowgirls hit just 20-of-58 (35 percent) shots from the floor. Wyoming has struggled from the field lately. The Cowgirls shot just 22 percent in a loss to BYU on Feb. 2.

"They were more aggressive and played with more intensity," Sisk said. "It's not that we were flat. We were just kind of going with the flow."

Lorie Butler-Rayford scored 12 points and Helena Sverrisdottir grabbed 12 rebounds for TCU, which led by as much as 23 in the second half.

The Lady Frogs shot 27 percent and had no players score in double digits in their loss to the Cowgirls last month. Wyoming came into the game with the nation's fifth-best scoring defense.

TCU hit 14-of-27 shots in the opening half as it jumped out to its 15-point halftime cushion. Roden, who had only scored eight points her past three games, sparked the Lady Frogs by scoring 13 in the first half.

"I did the easy part," said Roden, who hit all three of her 3-point attempts. "My teammates penetrated the ball and got me open shots."

The Lady Frogs took the lead for good with a 12-2 run. Roden capped the surge with a 3-pointer and two free throws that put TCU ahead 23-13 with 7:42 left in the first half.

Roden then hit consecutive 3-pointers to stretch TCU's advantage to 35-22. Ross' layup put the Lady Frogs ahead 39-24 in the final minute of the first half.

Wyoming scored the first basket of the second half but couldn't cut into TCU's lead after that.
