Pym scores 19 as No. 14 Old Dominion cruises past Northeastern

NORFOLK, Va. (AP) -- Megan Pym had 19 points and nine rebounds to lead Old Dominion (No. 14 ESPN/USA Today, No. 13 AP) to its 15th consecutive victory, 83-46 over Northeastern on Thursday.

The Lady Monarchs (21-3, 12-0 Colonial Athletic Association) led 43-21 at the half and never trailed, keeping Northeastern to 34.5 percent shooting for the game.

The Huskies (7-15, 2-10) allowed 42 points off 28 turnovers and trailed Old Dominion by as many as 42 points -- 81-39 -- with 4:05 to play after a jumper by Jen Nuzzo.

Tiffany Green and T.J. Jordan each added 16 points for the Lady Monarchs.

Shaleyse Smallwood led Northeastern with 16 points and Kendra Walton added 10.
