JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Jacinta Moore scored 21 points and Tanae Davis-Cain added 15 to help Florida State (No. 21 ESPN/USA Today, No. 22 AP) beat the University of North Florida 60-49 on Tuesday night.
Moore was 7-for-8 from the field and made 7-of-10 from the foul line.
Florida State (2-0) built a 25-20 halftime lead after trailing 7-1 to start the game. The teams tied or traded the lead nine times in the turnover plagued first half in which the Seminoles committed 15 turnovers and the Opsreys 17.
With 1:59 to play in the half, Davis-Cain gave the Seminoles their last lead of the game as she connected on a pair of free throws then added a field goal and another free throw.
Jadhken Kerr scored 13 points, including four 3-pointers, to lead the Ospreys (0-2).
