FORT WORTH, Texas -- TK LaFleur scored 22 points to lead six TCU players in double figures and the Lady Frogs
(No. 24 ESPN/USA Today, No. 22 AP) beat Houston 91-72 on Tuesday night.
Rachel Rentschler scored 15 points, Chantelle John had 13, and Micah Garoutte 12. Eboni Mangum and Helen Sverrisdottir added 10 points apiece.
Roxana Button led the Cougars (3-2) with 16 points.
TCU (5-0) scored the first eight points and never trailed. Rentschler hit back-to-back buckets to give TCU its largest lead 70-42 with 14:20 to go in the game.
The Cougars trimmed a 13-point deficit to 29-26 with 8 minutes left in the first half. Houston used a 16-6 run, but could only muster seven points the rest of the way as TCU pulled ahead 50-33 at halftime.
