COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Andrea Walker had 14 points off the bench and Samantha Prahalis and Jantel Lavender each scored 13 to lead Ohio State (No. 21 ESPN/USA Today, No. 20 AP) to a 72-47 victory over Boston University in the Buckeye Classic on Saturday.
Ohio State will play in the title game Sunday against Dayton, which beat Central Michigan 78-76.
The Buckeyes (5-1) led only 9-8 after six minutes when Kristi Dini hit a 3-pointer for the Terriers (3-3). Ohio State then scored the next 16 points while BU missed eight shots and committed three turnovers.
Midway through the first half none of Ohio State's starters were on the floor, but the lead increased from 22-8 to 35-11 over a five-minute span.
BU made 8 of 34 field goals and missed 10 of 15 3-pointers to trail 43-23 at the half. Ohio State was 14 for 25 from the floor and made 11 of 13 free throws.
