MILWAUKEE -- Kalee Whipple scored 30 points and Morgan Warburton added 19 to lead Utah to a 79-76 come-from-behind victory over Marquette on Sunday in the WBCA Classic.

Katie King chipped in 14 points as the Utes snapped a four-game losing streak to improve to 2-4.

The Golden Eagles (5-2) lost their second straight game. Krystal Ellis had 23 points to lead Marquette, with Georgie Jones adding 10.

Marquette led 48-33 at the half and was on top 51-33 early in the second half after a free throw by Paige Fiederowicz. But the Utes battled back to tie or lead several times.

Whipple hit a pair of free throws with 2:25 remaining to put the Utes ahead 75-73.

With Marquette trailing 77-76, Jones missed a pair of free throws with 6.3 seconds left that could have tied or won the game, and Utah hung on for the victory.

Both Marquette and Utah were 1-2 in the Classic. In the tournament's first game Sunday, Gonzaga upset No. 16 Virginia 69-62.
