LAWRENCE, Kan. -- Sade Morris had 20 points and Kansas outscored New Orleans 25-4 in the final 11 minutes on its way to a 64-42 win on Sunday.
Danielle McCray had 13 points and 12 rebounds and Nicollette Smith had 13 points and 10 rebounds as the Jayhawks (4-0) dominated the boards against the Privateers.
Kansas took a 26-22 lead into halftime and led by only a point, 39-38, with 11 minutes left in the game when the Jayhawks went on a 12-0 run to put the game out of reach.
Kansas was cold in the first half, hitting on only 25 percent of its shots before turning things around in the second half with 56 percent.
Brittany Helm led New Orleans (2-3) with 13 points and Nicole Holmes added 10.
