Arkansas-Little Rock scores first win over ranked opponent

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- Chastity Reed scored 18 points to lead Arkansas-Little Rock to a 65-51 victory over Oklahoma State (No. 17 ESPN/USAToday, No. 19 AP) on Saturday night, the school's first win over a ranked team.

The Trojans (6-1) took over the game in the final five minutes of the first half. After Oklahoma State (3-2) took a 21-20 lead on Andrea Riley's layup at the 5:30 mark, the Cowgirls scored just one more time in the half and fell behind 28-23.

The Trojans broke away in the opening minutes of the second half when they hit their first six shots while Oklahoma State's shooting had grown cold.

Anshel Cooper and Kim Stizman scored 13 each for UALR.

Riley and Shaunte Smith led OSU with 15 each.
