No. 19 Pittsburgh takes advantage of sloppy play to rout Wagner

PITTSBURGH -- Shavonte Zellous scored 26 points to lead five Pittsburgh players in double figures and the Panthers (No. 19 ESPN/USA Today, No. 16 AP) scored 36 points off 26 turnovers in a 98-41 victory over Wagner on Tuesday night.

The victory extended the Panthers' winning streak to eight games.

Taneisha Harrison scored 17 points, Shayla Scott and Xenia Stewart each added 12 and Pepper Wilson had 10 for Pittsburgh (8-1), which held a 23-point lead at halftime and extended it to 57 points with just under 2 minutes remaining.

Kanifa Hicks scored nine points to lead Wagner (3-5), which was outrebounded 59-28 and outscored 28-3 on second-chance points.
