ATHENS, Ohio -- Jennifer Mossor scored 19 points and Florida (No. 20 ESPN/USA Today, No. 18 AP) broke open a tight game with a 9-0 spurt in the second half to beat Ohio 74-56 on Saturday night.

Steffi Sorensen had 14 points, Sha Brooks added 13 points and seven assists, and Sharielle Smith had 12 points and a career-high 10 rebounds for the Gators (14-1). Marshae Dotson added nine points and 10 rebounds.

Lauren Hmiel tied her career best with 20 points to lead Ohio (4-8), with Jenny Poff adding 11 points and Thia Gholson grabbing 10 rebounds.

The Bobcats used a 10-2 run midway through the first half to take a 22-17 lead, but Florida regrouped. The Gators led 40-34 at the half and then stretched a 53-49 advantage to 62-49 behind Brooks' two baskets, a 3-pointer by Mossor and a layup by Smith. The lead never fell below 10 points again.
