LARAMIE, Wyo. -- Hillary Carlson and Megan McGuffey each had 22 points as Wyoming scored an 82-60 basketball victory over San Francisco on Saturday.

The Cowgirls (8-5) took control midway through the first half to win their non-conference finale. Kristen Scheffler and Elisabeth Dissen each added 12 points as Wyoming controlled action beneath the basket, outscoring San Francisco 42-16 in the paint.

Shay Rollins led San Francisco (4-10) with 19 points, with Necolia Simmons adding 12.

Carlson, 7-of-9 from the field in the game and 8-of-8 from the free-throw line, came off the bench in the first half and scored 11 points to spark Wyoming on a 24-12 run for a 14-point advantage. It was a career high in points for Carlson. McGuffey hit 8-of-15 from the field for her season high in points.

The Cowgirls led 42-27 at halftime and by as much as 26 in the second half. They shot 55 percent from the field (28-of-52), with San Francisco 21-of-61 from the field for 34 percent.
