LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. -- Julianne Viani scored 19 of her game-high 23 points in the second half as No. 21 Marist beat Siena 65-55 on Sunday.
Rachele Fitz added 15 points and nine rebounds for the Red Foxes (17-1, 8-0 MAAC), who defeated Siena for the ninth straight time.
Siena led from the closing seconds of the first half until the 4:32 mark in the second, when Viani hit a 3-pointer from the left corner to tie it at 51-all. Fitz followed with a three-point play a minute later and Marist had the lead for good.
Marist, which trailed by six twice in the second half, hasn't lost a conference game since Feb. 16, 2007, a 35-game streak.
Allie Lindemann scored 17 points and Sarah Fullmer added 14 for the Saints (5-11, 4-3).
