EUGENE, Ore. -- Jayne Appel scored 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead No. 11 Stanford to a 85-57 victory against Oregon on Thursday.
Appel was 8-for-9 from the field in the first half, when she scored 18 points and had nine rebounds. She played only five minutes in the second half.
Kayla Pedersen added 14 points and 13 rebounds for the Cardinal (14-4 overall, 5-1 Pac-10), who outrebounded the Ducks 47-22.
Jasmin Holliday led Oregon (7-10, 4-3) with 12 points.
Stanford outrebounded Oregon 47-22 and outscored the Ducks 50-18 in the paint. The Cardinal shot 56.5 percent from the field.
Stanford has won eight consecutive games against Oregon by an average of 23.9 points per game.
