ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- Georonika Jackson scored a career-high 23 points to lead New Mexico (No. 23 AP) to a 75-63 victory over TCU on Sunday.

Jackson, a junior whose previous best was 10 points, shot 7-for-11 from the field -- including 6-for-9 on 3-pointers -- for the Lobos (15-3, 4-1 Mountain West). Amy Beggin had 15 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.

Helena Sverrisdottir scored 25 points to lead the Lady Frogs (12-7, 4-2). She was 10-for-10 from the foul line and grabbed eight rebounds.

Jackson topped her career high in a 4-minute stretch midway through the first half, knocking down three 3-pointers and a short jumper for 11 points in that span. The scoring binge was part of New Mexico's 18-8 run that gave it a 28-18 lead with 5:22 left. Before Jackson entered the game, the Lobos were 4-for-19 from the field.

TCU, which closed to 32-28 at halftime, took its only lead after the break at 45-44 with 11:39 left when Sverrisdottir made two free throws.

But Jackson picked up where she left off in the first half, scoring nine straight points with consecutive 3s 12 seconds apart, then adding three more from the line in a 12-2 run that restored New Mexico's lead to 56-47.
