CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- Alison Lacey scored 20 points and Nicky Wieben added 17 and Iowa State (No. 23 ESPN/USA Today, No. 21 AP) snapped a two-game losing streak with a 61-38 Big 12 Conference win over Nebraska on Wednesday night.
Lacey, who was 7-for-11 from the field, had 14 points in the first half for the Cyclones (19-6, 7-4). Iowa State outscored the Huskers 28-16 in the second half.
Nebraska (11-13, 2-9) shot 32 percent for the game and had 21 turnovers.
Iowa State, which had lost back-to-back games to ranked opponents, led most of the way after jumping out to an 8-0 lead. Nebraska tied it at 18-all, but the Cyclones pulled away again, taking a 33-22 lead at the half.
Amanda Nisleit scored 10 points for Iowa State.
Catheryn Redmon led the Huskers with eight points and six rebounds.
