CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. -- Lyndra Littles and Monica Wright scored 27 points apiece as Virginia (No. 21 ESPN/USA Today, No. 23 AP) beat Boston College 90-70 on Sunday.

Littles, playing in the final home game of her career, shot 9-for-16 from the field and 8-for-8 on free throws for the Cavaliers (21-8, 7-5 Atlantic Coast Conference). Virginia shot 61 percent from the floor (19-for-31) in the second half, outscoring the Eagles 55-33 after halftime.

Carolyn Swords scored a game-high 31 points on 13-for-17 shooting for Boston College (18-9, 6-6). The Eagles had a woeful shooting experience in the second half, missing 19 shots from the field -- including 0-for-10 on 3-pointers.

Boston College, which has lost five of its last six games, closed out the first half on a 24-12 run to take a 37-35 lead at the break.

The Cavaliers pulled away early in the second half, opening with a 26-11 run.
