BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -- Niki McCoy scored 21 points to lead five Bowling Green players in double figures as the 25th-ranked Falcons beat Ohio 79-64 on Saturday, bouncing back after having their 25-game winning streak ended.
The Falcons (26-3, 15-1 Mid-American Conference) jumped into the ESPN/USA Today poll this week, then lost Wednesday night 45-40 at Miami (Ohio).
Bowling Green shot 63 percent from the field in the second half against Ohio to break open a tight game.
Tara Breske added 13 points, Tracy Pontius and Jen Uhl each had 11 and Lauren Prochaska had 10.
Jennifer Bushby scored 25 points -- hitting 10-of-12 shots from the field, including 5-of-6 3-pointers -- to lead the Bobcats (12-17, 7-9).
