NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- Christina Wirth scored 18 points and Jence Rhoads added 15 to help Vanderbilt (No. 23 ESPN/USA Today, No. 22 AP) beat LSU 61-47 on Saturday night to advance to the Southeastern Conference tournament championship.

Vanderbilt faces Auburn (No. 5 ESPN/USA Today, No. 6 AP) on Sunday for the title.

LSU (18-10) led 26-23 at the half, but Vanderbilt (23-9) tied it 30-30 at the 16:50 mark on a Jennifer Risper free throw. The Commodores took the lead for good when Wirth hit a 3 with 7:00 to play and a 43-40 lead.
