    Stevenson, Olajuwon help Sooners put away Knights

    WEST POINT, N.Y. -- Nyeshia Stevenson scored 17 points and Abi Olajuwon had 16 points and 13 rebounds as No. 16 Oklahoma defeated Army 59-46 on Thursday night.

    The Sooners, who won their third straight game, used a 13-0 run late in the second half to put the game away.

    The Black Knights (5-5) led 29-23 at halftime as neither team shot well: Oklahoma made only 22.6 percent of its shots (7-for-31) and Army made 24.2 percent (8-for-33).

    The Sooners (7-2) improved after halftime, going 13-for-25 (52 percent) compared to 6-for-23 (26.1 percent) for the Black Knights.

    With Oklahoma ahead 43-37, Army used a 7-2 run to cut the deficit to one with 6:35 left. The Sooners then went on their 13-0 spurt, including seven points by Stevenson, and went up 58-44 with 1:44 remaining.

    Danielle Robinson added 16 points for Oklahoma.

    Nalini Hawkins led the Black Knights with 13 points.
