Bolte's 3-pointer in OT clinches Iowa State's win over Texas

AUSTIN, Texas -- Kelsey Bolte scored 19 points, including hitting a 3-pointer that put Iowa State (No. 21 ESPN/USA Today) up for good in a 73-71 overtime victory over Texas (No. 23 ESPN/USA Today, No. 20 AP) on Saturday.

With 15 seconds left, Texas guard Erika Arriaran missed a layup and post Cokie Reed lost control of the rebound as time expired.

After being behind 46-32 midway through the second half, Iowa State (15-3, 3-2) slowly chipped away at the deficit until Amanda Lacey's 3-pointer with four seconds left sent the game into overtime.

Lacey led the Cyclones with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Bolte hit five of her seven 3s. Amanda Zimmerman added 14 points for Iowa State.

Ashley Fontenette and Brittainey Raven led the Longhorns (13-6, 2-3) with 18 points, and Fontenette went 4-for-6 from 3-point range.
